Job summary

Haling Park Care Home, Croydon, London, is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to contribute to high-quality meals in a clean, well-organised kitchen. The role works closely with the Chef and wider team to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. This is a hands-on role with a consistent routine in a supportive environment.

Job description

Located in Croydon, London, our care home has been purposely built to support older people in making the most of every day. We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia, Respite & Pallative Care for 62-residents.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
