Job summary

Hartford Care in Winchester is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals in a clean, compliant kitchen, working 35 hours per week.

You will assist with food preparation, washing up and serving residents, help maintain high hygiene standards, and contribute to a warm, caring atmosphere within a team dedicated to Creating Communities.

Role : Kitchen Assistant / 35 hours per week

Location: Tegfield House - Winchester, Hampshire (SO22 5HD)

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting in the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions while being aware of and act in accordance with current food laws and regulations, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing vegetables for a curry night, delivering a resident’s breakfast to their room, washing up after the lunch period, or assisting residents with a baking morning you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
