Hartford Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Hartford Court in Portsmouth to support the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions. The role involves assisting with meal preparation, serving residents, and helping to maintain a clean kitchen environment.

You will work as part of a caring team, including weekends on a rota, in a setting that prioritizes Creating Communities and Caring for Each Other. Full-time, 38 hours per week, with weekend shifts included.

Kitchen Assistant

Full-time - 38 hours per week (includes alternate weekend working)

Location: Hartford Court - Portsmouth, Hampshire (PO3 6GN)

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting in the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions while being aware of and act in accordance with current food laws and regulations, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing vegetables for a curry night, delivering a resident's breakfast to their room, washing up after the lunch period, or assisting residents with a baking morning you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
