Job summary

Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. This hands-on role supports food preparation, cleanliness, deliveries, storage and stock organisation, working closely with the Chef and team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

The position offers a consistent routine with opportunities to develop in a supportive kitchen environment, with part-time hours 4pm–7:30pm and pay of £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Stanely Park Care Home, located in Paisley's Balgonie area, is a warm and welcoming 40-bed home, recently refurbished to offer a modern, comfortable environment. We provide high-quality residential and respite care in a homely setting where residents feel safe, supported, and valued.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to part time hours per week - 4pm - 7.30pm
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
