Job summary

Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. This hands-on role supports food preparation, cleanliness, deliveries, storage and stock organisation, working closely with the Chef and team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

The position offers a consistent routine with opportunities to develop in a supportive kitchen environment, with part-time hours 4pm–7:30pm and pay of £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, deliveries, storage and stock organisation.
• Work closely with the Chef and wider team to keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely.
• Contribute to a consistent routine and growing experience in a supportive environment.
