Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant for a school setting in Oxford with an immediate start. Competitive hourly pay and weekly pay are offered, along with support from the Berkeley Scott team.

Ideal candidates will have Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificates, DBS clearance, and be able to provide two references. This role is temporary and located in Oxford.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working in a busy school kitchen.
• Holds Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificates, or willing to obtain them.
• Enhanced DBS cleared and able to provide 2 references.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation and serving.
• Helping the catering team prepare meals.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Washing up and keeping kitchen areas organised.
• Following food safety and allergen procedures.
• Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods.
