Job summary

Haling Park Care Home in Croydon is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a Bank contract. You will support meal delivery in a clean, safe kitchen, assist with food prep and stock organisation, and work closely with the Chef and team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

The role offers a days shift pattern, DBS paid, pension, and provided uniform, with 5.6 weeks of annual leave based on a full-time contract. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

Located in Croydon, London, our care home has been purposely built to support older people in making the most of every day. We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia, Respite & Pallative Care for 62-residents.

• £12.71 per hour
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
