Job summary

Care Concern Group's Lauren Court Care Home in Blacon, Chester, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen.

In this hands-on role you will help with food preparation, keep the kitchen tidy, assist with deliveries and stock, and work closely with the Chef and team to ensure smooth, compliant operations. A positive, reliable approach is valued and prior kitchen experience is helpful but not essential.

Our 48 bedded home provides residential and dementia care. Located in Blacon, Chester, Lauren Court is a welcoming home with a strong community feel and a friendly, supportive team. Kitchen Assistant

• £13.45-£13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
