Job summary

Windyhall Care Home in Ayr, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support meal delivery in a clean, safe kitchen. The role is 16 hours per week, with pay of £12.71 per hour, plus PVG, pension and uniform provided.

You will help with food prep, stock, and deliveries, working alongside the Chef and team. This position offers a consistent routine in a supportive kitchen environment, with opportunities to develop experience while upholding high standards of food safety and

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 16 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
