Job summary

Runwood Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our care home kitchen team. You will help Chefs with daily operations, keep areas clean and follow safety guidelines, enabling smooth meal service for residents.

You will gain training, have opportunities to develop within the company, and participate in events and special catering. A friendly, team-focused environment with on-site work at our care homes.

Kitchen Assistant

As members of the support services team, our Kitchen Assistants help the Chefs with the daily operations of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and performing general kitchen tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in the care home. Our Kitchen Assistants adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as follow all necessary COSHH and HACPP guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in catering for special events at the home, such as the annual summer fayres.
