Job summary

Pottersway Care Home, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join a luxury residential care setting near Church Lawton, close to Alsager. You will help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen and support daily operations.

Working with the Chef and wider team, you will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, help with deliveries and stock, and contribute to a smooth, well organised kitchen. Weekend rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Attitude and reliability for a kitchen helper
• Basic food safety understanding
• Ability to work in a team and independently

Responsibilities

Job description

Our new, luxury care home is nestled in the charming village of Church Lawton, near Alsager. We provide exceptional standards of Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite Care for 60-residents.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 38 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
