Job summary

Pottersway Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support high‑quality meal production in a clean, well‑organised kitchen. You will work closely with the Chef and team to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

The role requires assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting deliveries and stock management. You will work alternate weekends in a supportive environment that values Trust, Respect, Passion,

Our new, luxury care home is nestled in the charming village of Church Lawton, near Alsager. We provide exceptional standards of Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite Care for 60-residents.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 38 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
