Job summary

Amberley Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, in Sale, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver nutritious meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You will support food preparation, help with deliveries and stock, and work closely with the Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

A positive, reliable approach and good communication are essential. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required, and the role includes weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

Our luxury care home is situated in the beautiful, historic town of Sale, offering Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 72-residents.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
