Job summary

Pottersway House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is recruiting a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and emotional wellbeing.

You will follow care plans, contribute to safe, respectful and person-centred care, and work as part of a supportive team in a warm, welcoming environment. This role requires alternate weekend work and offers full training and ongoing development.

Job description

Our new, luxury care home is nestled in the charming village of Church Lawton, near Alsager. We provide exceptional standards of Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite Care for 60-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
