Summary We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and forward-thinking Kids Club Manager to lead and further develop our popular and well-established Kids Club provision.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and play opportunities, whilst having the organisational and administrative skills needed to manage the day-to-day operation of a busy out of school club.
At BVPS, being active is an important part of school life, and we want this to continue beyond the school day. Our Kids Club should give children plenty of opportunities to move, play, explore and have fun, alongside creative, social and quieter activities. We are looking for a manager who can bring fresh ideas and develop a varied programme that encourages children to be active and engaged.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Kids Club team, planning and delivering engaging activities and ensuring children are provided with a safe, caring and enjoyable environment. The formal role includes planning and evaluating high-quality play opportunities, alongside responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety and relevant EYFS requirements.
We are particularly looking for someone who is confident in the use of IT and comfortable undertaking the administrative aspects of the role.
This will include:
Working hours: Monday – Friday - 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Term Time Only plus Inset days.
Some flexibility will be required to support the needs of the provision, including providing cover for staff absence where necessary.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead of an already popular provision and help shape its next chapter, creating a Kids Club where children can be active, have fun, spend time with friends and enjoy even more opportunities beyond the school day.
Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
