Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a compassionate Support Worker / Care Assistant to support pupils aged 2-19 with additional needs in SEN settings across Hereford. Start date October 2026, with flexible supply work and opportunities to progress to longer-term roles.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, helping students access learning, develop communication skills and promote independence while supporting wellbeing and personal care when required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in care, healthcare or support roles such as Support Worker or Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Encouraging learning, communication and independence
• Supporting sensory activities and emotional wellbeing
• Assisting with personal care, feeding and mobility where required
• Working closely with teachers and other professionals
