Job summary

Think Education Partners Limited is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support students in a SEN setting within a Leeds school. You will work during school hours, building confidence and reinforcing core skills through tailored academic support.

The role starts September 2026 and focuses on students with EHCPs and varying needs. You will collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress and impact, contributing to individual education plans as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience working with challenging behaviour.
• Previous experience in Alternative Provisions.
• Understanding of EHCPs and supporting diverse learners.
• Patience, empathy and strong communication.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners one-to-one.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored academic support and assist with learning activities for students in a SEN setting.
• Support students with varying EHCPs, reinforcing core skills and confidence.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress and contribute to IEPs.
