Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative to support receiving, picking, replenishment, and put-away duties. The role includes driving a forklift and loading stock for despatch, in a fast-moving environment.

You will work safely, following food and health & safety policies to ensure products reach stores in prime condition for customers. Some roles require weekend work and reasonable transport access due to site locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good level of fitness for active role.
• Able to work in variable temperatures, potentially noisy or dusty environments.
• Pride in completing tasks to high standards.
• Desirable previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound goods, stock picking, replenishment and put-away tasks.
• Operate a forklift truck and assist with despatch loading.
• Work safely following food health and safety policies.

More about the role

As a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative you'll be absolutely critical to the operation! You'll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck and loading stock for despatch.

You'll work safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that our products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at the store ready for our customers.

Please note that:

• All rotas include an element of weekend working
• Having your own transport would be advantageous due to shift times and location of site

• Loves working as part of a team and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
• Is able to work in an environment with varying temperatures, and which may be noisy or dusty
• Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
• Has previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands relevant processes, systems and equipment (desirable)
