Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative to support a busy distribution site. You will help bring products in, pick stock, replenish and put away goods, operate a forklift truck and load stock for despatch.

You must work safely under food hygiene and health and safety policies, and be comfortable in a fast-paced team environment. Some weekend shifts and site access may be required, and having your own transport could be helpful due to shift times and location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse is desirable.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Good level of fitness and stamina.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Bring products in and put away goods.
• Pick stock and replenish shelves.
• Drive a forklift truck and load stock for despatch.

More about the role

As a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative you'll be absolutely critical to the operation! You'll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck and loading stock for despatch.

You'll work safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that our products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at the store ready for our customers.

Please note that:

• All rotas include an element of weekend working
• Having your own transport would be advantageous due to shift times and location of site

You'll be the kind of person who:

• Loves working as part of a team and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
• Is able to work in an environment with varying temperatures, and which may be noisy or dusty
• Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
• Has previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands relevant processes, systems and equipment (desirable)
