Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking a KS1 teacher for Nottingham NG8 and surrounding areas. The role covers day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term positions with pay £170-£230 per day depending on experience.

You will deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms, and support pupils in line with the National Curriculum, with safeguarding at the core. QTS or QTLS required; UK primary school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS (ECTs welcome).
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Experience teaching Year 1 and/or Year 2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Reliable, adaptable and positive approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Year 1 and Year 2 pupils across primary schools in NG8, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Managing the classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils' progress and development.
• Working closely with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Adapting lessons to meet individual pupils' needs.
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
