Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking a KS1 Primary Teacher for Nottingham and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term positions, with flexible work to fit your availability.

Qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS (ECTs welcome) and experience in UK primary schools are encouraged to apply. You will teach Year 1 and Year 2, deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupil progress while following safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (ECTs are welcome).
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools is essential.
• Experience teaching Year 1 and/or Year 2 with strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

Location: NG8, Nottingham and surrounding areas

Pay: £170–£230 per day, depending on experience

What you'll be doing

• Teaching Year 1 and Year 2 pupils across primary schools in NG8, Nottingham and surrounding areas


• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum


• Managing the classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment


• Supporting pupils' progress and development


• Working closely with school staff to ensure continuity of learning


• Adapting lessons to meet individual pupils' needs


• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management


• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

We're looking for teachers who have

• Experience working within UK primary schools

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
