Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Key Stage 1 Teacher for temporary supply roles across Retford, Nottinghamshire, starting September 2026. You will deliver engaging KS1 lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment, and support pupils to reach their full potential across multiple schools.

Flexibility is key, with daily supply options and opportunities for longer placements. You will gain access to CPD and ongoing support from your dedicated Academics consultant, with a Refer a Friend voucher scheme

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 in UK primary schools.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The right to work in the UK.
