Job summary

Teacher Active is recruiting qualified primary teachers for immediate opportunities across NG8, Nottingham and surrounding areas, with day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term positions available.

You will teach KS1 (Year 1 and Year 2) in line with the National Curriculum, manage classrooms, and help pupils progress. The pay ranges from £170 to £230 per day depending on experience.

We provide a dedicated consultant, 24/7 support and opportunities for CPD and professional development.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS (ECTs are welcome)
• Experience working within UK primary schools
• Experience teaching Year 1 and/or Year 2 pupils
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
• Reliable, adaptable and positive approach
• Genuine commitment to supporting children's learning
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children

Responsibilities

• Teaching Year 1 and Year 2 across primary schools in NG8 and surrounding areas
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Managing the classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils' progress and development
• Collaborating with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Adapting lessons to meet individual pupils' needs
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
