Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a KS1 Teacher for a part-time, temporary role in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will join a primary school Year 1 class, delivering the KS1 curriculum with Read Write Inc Phonics and differentiating for varying pupil levels.

The role is mornings only, 08:30–12:30, starting December 2026 and running through to April 2027. QTS is required, with KS1 experience and ability to work independently or in a team; SEND understanding is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching KS1 is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of delivering KS1 curriculum.

Responsibilities

£600 - £1,308.90 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle are looking to employ a teacher to join their dedicated team from December 2026. The successful candidate will be working within a Year 1 classroom, with all pupils working at varying levels. The school are looking for a reliable teacher, who has excellent knowledge and experience of delivering the Key Stage 1 Curriculum, including Read, Write, Inc Phonics. This is a part-time position, working mornings only, 08:30-12:30pm and the Senior Leadership team would ideally like an experienced teacher for this role.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

• Experience of teaching within KS1 is essential.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
