Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Newcastle upon Tyne is recruiting a KS1 Teacher for a part-time temporary role from December 2026 to April 2027. You will teach a Year 1 class, delivering the KS1 curriculum, including Read, Write, Inc Phonics, in mornings only (08:30–12:30). The school seeks an experienced teacher to join a dedicated team.

The role requires QTS, ability to differentiate instruction, and a strong SEND knowledge base. A supportive SLT and CPD opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within KS1 is essential.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• Excellent understanding of Read, Write, Inc Phonics.
• Must have QTS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of supporting pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 1 KS1 curriculum in mornings 08:30–12:30.
• Deliver Read, Write, Inc Phonics to pupils.
• Work within a Year 1 classroom with pupils at varying levels.
• Collaborate with SLT and school colleagues to support pupil progress.

£600 - £1,308.90 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle are looking to employ a teacher to join their dedicated team from December 2026. The successful candidate will be working within a Year 1 classroom, with all pupils working at varying levels. The school are looking for a reliable teacher, who has excellent knowledge and experience of delivering the Key Stage 1 Curriculum, including Read, Write, Inc Phonics. This is a part-time position, working mornings only, 08:30-12:30pm and the Senior Leadership team would ideally like an experienced teacher for this role.

Requirements
