Job summary

£600 - £1,308.90 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School based in Hexham are looking to employ a part-time KS1 teacher to join their dedicated team from October 2026. The successful candidate will be working within a Year 1 classroom 3 days each week, with all pupils working at varying levels. The school are looking for an adaptable teacher, who has excellent knowledge and experience of delivering the Key Stage 1 Curriculum, including Read, Write, Inc Phonics. This position is open to experienced teachers only.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

• Experience of teaching within KS1 is essential.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
