About the Role

Are you a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming school in Newton Abbot. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young students, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Student Progress: Assess, track, and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
  • Inclusive Learning: Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
  • Building Relationships: Work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a strong school community.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to the wider school ethos by working effectively within a team.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities: Engage in school-wide initiatives and additional learning opportunities.
Key Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • KS1 Teaching Experience is preferred, but EYFS or KS2 experience will also be considered.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach to teaching and a dedication to school values.
