About the Role:

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an inspiring educator to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Exeter. As a KS1 Teacher, you will be instrumental in shaping the academic and personal development of your students, ensuring they build strong foundations for future learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Student Progress: Monitor and assess pupils’ learning, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Inclusive Teaching: Foster a positive, inclusive classroom that caters to the needs of all students.
  • Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support children's learning journeys.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
  • School Involvement: Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the school's positive ethos.
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in KS1 is preferred, but experience in EYFS or KS2 will also be considered.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to creating a stimulating learning environment.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
