Job Description:

Your new company

Here at Hays Education, we are currently recruiting reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work in various primary schools across Bristol. These roles are for supply cover, giving you the opportunity to work in different schools in the local area. With the support of your dedicated specialist consultant, you can let us know your availability, and we will arrange work for you on those days. Due to the high volume of work at Hays, we guarantee you will work on the days you are available, or we will pay you for that day. This can be anything from 1 to 5 days a week that you will work exclusively with Hays. Additionally, Hays provides opportunities to build relationships with our partner schools, many of which may lead to long-term or permanent placements.

Your new role

This role can be either full-time or part-time, allowing you to fit it around your schedule. It is ideal for those passionate about teaching across multiple primary schools. Schools are looking for candidates with strong and adaptable classroom skills, as you will be covering classes for the day, whether due to teacher illness, training, etc. The role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). While the role can be part-time based on your availability, the successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities and collaborate with other teachers in the year group to form a cohesive team. Although there are no PPA responsibilities, you will be required to mark any work set for the day. If you enjoy working in different primary schools and across various year groups at times that suit your schedule, this is the role for you.
