Job summary

Tidal Recruitment Limited in Wakefield is seeking an Account Manager to build lasting relationships with Powered Access clients and manage a high-spend portfolio. You will focus on upselling and keeping orders moving while resolving disputes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a competitive package: £40k–£45k base plus £10k–£12k in commission/bonuses upon meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Experience as Account Manager or Hire Controller is preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-facing confidence.
• Ability to spot upsell opportunities and manage orders to resolution.

Job description

We've joined forces with a well-established name in the Hire game who need an Account Manager that specialises in building relationships with Powered Access big spenders.

If you're an Account Manager, or an experienced Hire Controller who wants progression and a company that backs them, this one could be for you.

You'll be managing and growing a portfolio that's heavily weighted towards Powered Access (around 85%) with some crossover into other channels too.

The job is about building relationships that last, spotting upsell opportunities, keeping orders moving and sorting out the odd dispute along the way.

It's not just order taking, we want someone who's commercially aware and confident customer facing.

Fantastic package on offer with a basic of £40 to £45K, with an additional £10-12k annually in commission and bonuses if targets are met.

On top of the package, there's team socials, a healthcare plan and 22 days holidays a year (plus your birthday), which increases a day each year after the first 2.

Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, office based in Wakefield.
