Job Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention, while identifying opportunities for growth and cross-selling. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and objectives to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, design, finance) to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Monitor account performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all account activity using CRM tools.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager in the Architecture & Design (A&D) and hospitality sector.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in interior design, furniture, or luxury goods industries.
  • Creative problem-solving.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle and client support.
