Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Heathrow, United Kingdom, is seeking a freight forwarder to provide proactive service to key account customers, handling air operations and driving continuous improvements. You will process orders, maintain accurate records and contribute to KPI and financial reporting to support business goals.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to manage high workloads while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information.

Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight and knowledge of air industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Ability to make considered and consistent decisions.
• Fast and accurate data entry.
• Intermediate level of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders through platforms in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records for each Key Account.
• Produce and maintain KPI and financial reports tracking activity.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Provide help and advice to support customers.
• Review and improve customer service processes within the department.
• Assist the Team Leader to capture and analyse department KPI’s.
• Work with team to ensure financial metrics are met.
• Ensure shipment costs align with expected profit levels.

Main Purpose of the role

DSV are recruiting for a freight Forwarder to provide an efficient and proactive service to all key account customers, overseas and related service providers. You will be dealing with all aspects of air operations and will manage customer expectations and look to make continuous improvements

What will you be doing?

• Receive and process all customer orders through various platforms and processing thesein a timely manner.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of all work carried out for each Key Account.
• Produce andmaintainaccurateKPI and financial reports, tracking all activity.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and electronically with customers & team members
• Provide help and advice to support customers
• Continuous reviewing and improvement of customer service processes within the department
• Assisting the Team Leader to capture and analyse department KPI’s
• Work closely with the team and the Administration Department to ensure financial metrics (unbilled, EICI, etc) are met
• Ensure that once all shipment processes are completed that all expected costs are in line with expected profit levels

About You

• Previous experience in airfreight and knowledge of air industry
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and manage high workloads in challenging situations and meetings deadlines
• Ability to make considered and consistent decisions
• Fast andaccuratedata entry
• Intermediate level of Word, Excel,Outlookand PowerPoint
