Description: The Key Account Business Development Manager within Dahua Technology UK Limited plays a pivotal role in engaging with integrators, end users, specifiers, and distribution partner sales and account management staff to improve Dahua's business performance and reputation, ensuring healthy and sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Explore, identify, and develop significant project opportunities; recognize decision-making chains of key clients; proactively establish customer relationships; collaborate with pre-sales engineers and solution architects; manage project processes; lead bidding until successful closure.
- Promote Dahua products and services to specifiers, including systems integrators, installers, consultants, and end users in the UK and Ireland.
- Follow up on new business opportunities and arrange meetings with partners.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to partners and interested parties.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and developments.
- Introduce the Dahua Key Integrator Partnership Program and secure partner engagement.
- Provide product and commercial training to partners.
- Encourage system specifications including Dahua solutions.
- Work with distribution partners to meet partner requirements.
- Develop market and vertical market strategies for Dahua products.
- Support marketing events and exhibitions.
- Contribute to the growth of the Dahua brand in the UK and Ireland.
- Prepare timely reports for management and role support.
The Business Development Manager is also expected to:
- Maintain accurate data in the CRM system.
- Respond to sales inquiries and follow up.
- Develop existing and new customer relationships.
- Monitor activities and produce reports.
- Conduct market research and surveys.
- Attend meetings with other departments.
- Participate in training to stay updated with market and product knowledge.
