Job summary

Just Temps is recruiting for a Junior Machine Operator to join a client in Halstead, Essex. The role is full-time, 8:30am-5pm, with a starting pay rate of £12.71 per hour, on a temp-to-perm basis.

Candidates will develop skills in TIG/MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, machining, fitting and assembly to specification, with traditional manufacturing duties. The vacancy requires at least 12 months in a busy weld production environment and Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in a busy weld production environment.
• Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding.
• Own transport is essential due to the location.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, unload and operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use computer terminal to input operation details and related data.
• Support stock counts and maintain records of goods in the warehouse.
