Job summary

Just Temps is recruiting for a Junior Machine Operator to join our client in Essex on a temp-to-perm basis. The role starts as a temporary position for up to 12 weeks with a view to permanency for the right candidate.

The position is full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm, with a starting pay rate of £12.71 per hour. The role involves TIG/MIG welding and sheet metal fabrication, machining, fitting and assembly of parts to specification in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in a busy weld production environment would be an advantage.
• Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding.
• Own transport is essential due to the location.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, unload and operate machinery, tools and equipment including Brazing equipment, Laser cutting machine and Milling machine.
• Use computer terminal to enquire and input details of operations, orders, parts, procedures, products, samples, services, stock, suppliers, time, tooling, etc.
• Participate in physical counting of stock and investigate discrepancies; maintain accurate records of goods in the warehouse and elsewhere.

Junior Machine Operator - We're currently recruiting for multiple Junior Machine Operator to join our client based in, Halstead, Essex on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing. The role will initially be a temporary position for up to 12 weeks and for the right candidate will go permanent!

About the Role:

You will be developing skills to effectively TIG/MIG Weld and Sheet Metal Fabrication, Machining, Fitting and Assembly of Material/Parts to specification in the safest and most efficient manner. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm. The starting pay rate is £12.71 per hour.
