Overview

First Military Recruitment is currently supporting our client in the search for a Junior Vehicle Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining & repairing vehicles to a high standard, in a prompt and caring manner to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect vehicles prior to and upon completion of service, maintenance, or repair work.
  2. Diagnose repair requirements for vehicles.
  3. Procure parts required to complete the work instructions.
  4. Ensure a final inspection of all work is completed and, when requested, fully test if safety-related or a customer concern.
  5. Record accurate details of work done on Repair Orders and other information required by policy and statutory procedures.
  6. Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date.
  7. Complete allocated tasks in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Time-served experience plus relevant qualifications, preferably Level 2.
  • Dealership experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Able to work in a team.
