Junior Trade Assistant - Hedge Fund

Multi Billion Hedge Fund is seeking a Junior Trade Assistant for a newly launched strategy. The fund boasts a long history of success, with double-digit returns net of fees since inception.

This role focuses on growth and scaling. The successful candidate will benefit from the visibility of a launch, supported by a strong balance sheet, reputable company brand, and ample resources.

The COO is looking for a candidate with 1-2 years of operations experience, who can be trained, mentored, and developed into a key contributor for the expansion of this new business line.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Supporting the investment desk with T0/T+1 trade support.
2. Trade booking, P&L, and position monitoring.
3. T+1 core operations such as confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations.
4. Managing corporate actions.
5. Trade reporting and analysis.
6. Automation and coding projects using SQL/Python.

Experience Required:

• 1-2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in an investment bank, asset management, or hedge fund.
• Recent graduates with industrial placements or internships are also encouraged to apply.
