Job summary

ACS Performance is seeking a Junior Technical Support Engineer in Croydon. The role focuses on troubleshooting across devices, networks and Windows environments, with a hands-on path to grow technical knowledge and responsibilities.

You will support remotely deployed devices, investigate connectivity issues and help maintain technical documentation. Hybrid work arrangement is in place, with four days in the office and one day from home.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in IT support, infrastructure, field engineering or operations, or demonstrable fundamentals from projects.
• Good networking fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot IP addressing and connectivity.
• Familiarity with VPNs, secure remote access and Windows environments.
• Ability to read event logs, use command-line tools, and configure systems.
• Structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues across devices, networks and OS.
• Diagnose faults and identify root causes rather than symptoms.
• Support remotely deployed devices across multiple locations.
• Investigate connectivity and device configuration issues.
• Maintain records, tickets and SOPs; assist with documentation.
