Job summary

Zachary Daniels is supporting an established international retailer in the appointment of an immediately available Junior Technology Business Analyst.

This hybrid London role sits between the technology team and business stakeholders, helping gather requirements, document processes, and coordinate QA testing across retail, ecommerce and corporate functions. The assignment starts ASAP and runs initially for two to three weeks, with rolling continuation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a junior business analyst or similar tech-focused role.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes.
• Exposure to QA testing or UAT on system enhancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Immediate or short-notice availability.
• Experience in retail/ecommerce or wholesale is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Providing initial triage support for system issues and escalating more complex problems.
• Gathering and documenting clear business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining "as-is" and "to-be" business process documentation.
• Executing QA test plans for system enhancements and wider technology projects.
• Coordinating project activities across business, technical and IT teams.
• Supporting task prioritisation and ensuring key actions remain on track.
• Working across multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Undertaking occasional UK travel when required.
