Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Junior Team Leader at the Haydock branch, covering the South West. You’ll lead a team of Technicians, manage daily duties, and drive improvements in KPIs such as Health and Safety, State of Service, vehicle maintenance, and productivity.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a basic salary of £28,604 per year and an expected OTE of £33,000 through bonus and commission schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture.
• Interest in plants and plant care.
• Experience coordinating customer stock requirements to ensure availability for vehicles and routes.
• Leadership skills in a work environment.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role applied for.

Responsibilities

• To manage a team of Technicians in their daily duties.
• To ensure delivery of key KPIs, including Health and Safety, State of Service, Vehicle Maintenance, Productivity.
• Plan routes to ensure maximum customer-facing time and minimise driving time.
• Field support days.
• Maintenance and installing Christmas displays.

Junior Team Leader Responsibilities

• To manage a team of Technicians in their daily duties.
• To ensure delivery of key KPIs, including Health and Safety, State of Service, Vehicle Maintenance, Productivity.
• Plan routes to ensure maximum customer-facing time and minimise driving time.
• Field support days.

The role also includes a large geography area and involves a lot of driving and hands‑on servicing as and when required.
