Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Junior Systems Analyst to support ERP and business applications in a growing IT environment at Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. The role is graduate or early-career, focusing on day-to-day system operation and data handling within a collaborative Systems department.

You will contribute to an ambitious program modernising our reporting platform and customer self-service portals, while gaining hands-on experience with AI-enabled technology and one-Suite components.

Qualifications

• Degree, apprenticeship or equivalent in IT, business information systems, data or a related field.
• Genuine interest in AI tools and how they can be applied to real business problems.
• Logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and a good eye for detail.
• Clear communicator and able to explain systems to non-technical colleagues.
• Exposure to an ERP or CRM (any platform), Salesforce, or SQL/Power BI.
• Microsoft 365 administration or Power Platform.
• Basic understanding of business processes — order-to-cash, purchasing, stock, scheduling.
• Experience working with a managed IT service provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for ERP and business applications: log, triage and resolve user issues, and escalate when needed.
• Help test new system features and builds — write test cases, run them, record defects and confirm fixes.
• Support ERP replacement programme: data mapping and migration checks, dual-running reconciliation, cutover prep.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards in i-Suite for order intake, operations, safety and other business reporting.
• Write and keep up to date user guides, process documentation and knowledge-base articles.
• Deliver user training and floor-walking during rollouts.
• Look for small process and AI automation improvements and help embed them.
• Work with outsourced IT provider: raise tickets, track resolutions, and act as day-to-day contact.

About the role

DorSuite is investing in a single company-wide system (one-Suite), a new reporting platform (i-Suite), and a customer self-service portal (c-Suite) to modernise how we operate. AI sits at the core of how we're building these: we use AI in our own development work every day, and our ambition is to be at the forefront of AI-enabled technology in our industry.

The Systems department sits at the centre of all of this. We need a capable, curious junior analyst to support the team, keep our day-to-day applications and IT running smoothly, and grow into a systems specialist.

This is a graduate or early-career role. You don't need to have done it before — you need to be organised, comfortable with data and technology, and interested in how a business runs.

What you'll do

Business applications and projects

• Provide first-line support for our ERP and business applications: log, triage and resolve user issues, and elevate to the Systems Manager or vendors where needed
• Help test new system features and builds — write test cases, run them, record defects and confirm fixes
• Support the ERP replacement programme: data mapping and migration checks, dual-running reconciliation, cutover prep
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards in i-Suite for order intake, operations, safety and other business reporting
• Write and keep up to date user guides, process documentation and knowledge-base articles
• Deliver user training and floor-walking during rollouts
• Look for small process and AI automation improvements and help embed them

IT operations

• Housekeeping of Microsoft 365 accounts, licences, groups and permissions
• Work with and help manage our outsourced IT provider: raise and track tickets, chase resolutions, and act as the day-to-day point of contact
• Manage starters and leavers end to end — accounts, access, equipment and handovers — so people are productive from day one and offboarded cleanly
• Plan and track hardware requirements: laptops, mobiles, peripherals, replacement cycles and stock

What we're looking for

• Degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in IT, business information systems, data or a related field
• Genuine interest in AI tools and how they can be applied to real business problems
