Job summary

Amey in Cardiff is recruiting a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer to support the team on UK projects, from investigation to detailed design and asset management. You’ll study 3D models, calculations, and carbon estimates while learning from industry experts.

A Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, with a minimum 2:1, and an interest in bridges and sustainable development.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1)
• An interest in bridges / civil structures
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world-class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
