Job summary

Amey in London is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Bridges and Civil Structures team. You’ll work on UK and international projects, developing practical skills from day one and learning from experienced engineers.

The role covers analysis, design, optioning, and asset management, with opportunities to contribute to carbon and cost estimates and 3D modelling. A degree in civil/structural engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1).
• Interest in bridges / civil structures.
• Commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world‑class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.

Education
