Job summary

Amey is hiring a Graduate Structural Engineer in Stafford to join the Bridges and Civil Structures team. The role offers a structured development pathway with exposure to high-profile projects across the UK and internationally, and a starting salary of £31,000.

You’ll contribute from day one, undertaking analysis, design and assessment, while learning from experienced professionals in a flexible, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1).
• An interest in bridges/civil structures.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on exciting projects across the UK and internationally.
• Develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data, analytics and digital technology solutions.

Civil/Structural Engineering degree

2:1 minimum grade
