Job summary

Gees in North Oxford is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with induction and training of new kitchen staff, while managing time and ensuring seasonal ingredients shine.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in a similar restaurant; full training will be provided. Part-time hours may also be considered, with a weekly 45-hour pattern and potential OTE up to £17.38 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Run and oversee all kitchen sections
• Maintain high standards across the restaurant
• Keep prep levels aligned with sales volume
• Receive deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO
• Attend and participate in all team meetings
