Job summary

Muro Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, help ensure every dish leaves the pass to spec, and grow into a senior kitchen role across our growing hospitality brand.

We offer up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals each shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. Evening/weekend shifts apply, with career development opportunities ahead.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients.
• Ability to work at pace with limited supervision.
• Strong hygiene and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section, manage prep, par, cleanliness and safety.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen safety.
• Support and help newer chefs develop their skills.
• Know dish specs and ensure every plate is up to standard.
