Job summary

Como Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support Head and Sous Chefs, help deliver great shifts, and ensure every dish leaves the pass to spec. You’ll grow into a senior kitchen role with plenty of development opportunities across England and Wales.

The role offers hourly pay up to £13.60 with tips, a flexible contract, a free meal on every shift, 50% discount on food and drinks from day one, and benefits like staff events and early pay access.

Qualifications

• From the ad: proven ability to support Head Chef and Sous Chef, maintain high kitchen standards, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and prep for each day.
• Keep the kitchen clean, well-organised, and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section: prep, par, hygiene and food safety at all times.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen is compliant and safe.
• Help newer chefs develop skills and confidence.
