Job summary

The Wayfarer in Stone, part of Parogon Group, invites applications for a Junior Sous Chef to join a busy gastropub kitchen. You will work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain high standards, learn leadership skills, and contribute to a collaborative team.

This role offers 32 hours per week, a competitive hourly rate up to £14 and a clear route toward a Sous Chef position as you gain experience and responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or Junior Sous
• Calm, organised and great with people
• Hungry to learn and progress to Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Run sections and support the pass during busy services
• Cook menus to spec, every time
• Train and support chefs and KPs
• Involve in ordering, stock and food safety
