Chickpea is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our growing pub group in rural hospitality. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, helping deliver seasonal, locally sourced dishes with integrity and consistency. Lead by example to maintain the highest kitchen standards and nurture a collaborative team environment.

You will participate in menu development, training, and mentorship to help colleagues grow while ensuring excellent service across busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory kitchen role.
• Commitment to high standards and seasonal, local sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading the kitchen.
• Help deliver seasonal, locally sourced food made from scratch.
• Maintain high food quality and kitchen standards.
