Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Estero Lounge, a busy kitchen within a casual dining group recognized for dining excellence. You will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef, help run efficient shifts, and ensure every dish meets the standards the brand is known for.

Great opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie or Senior Chef to step up. The brand operates across England and Wales with over 300 sites and strong career pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh ingredients and ability to handle both hot and cold prep.
• Strong kitchen skills including cleaning, knife work, and hygiene practices.
• Knowledge of allergens and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and ensure prep is ready for each day.
• Keep a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards every shift.
• Own your section, manage prep, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety at all times.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen compliance and safety.
• Support and mentor newer chefs to develop skills and confidence.
• Know dish specs inside out to ensure every plate leaves the kitchen proud.
